With your gift, you’ll support a student like Caterin Duarte Reynosa, who joined Canal Alliance's University Prep (UP!) program when she was in middle school and took advantage of our after-school support, tutoring, academic workshops, and counseling services.
After graduating from high school, Caterin was accepted at the University of Santa Cruz and received a scholarship from Canal Alliance to cover transportation and textbooks, allowing her to graduate debt-free.
After college, Caterin continued to rely on our College to Career workshops to learn practical skills for transitioning into the workforce. As a result, she secured an internship that eventually led to a job offer from Target’s corporate offices, where she currently works as a software engineer.
